      <!-- Start Shareaholic LikeButtonSetTop Automatic --><!-- End Shareaholic LikeButtonSetTop Automatic --><p>I found a great article regarding the recent (well not so recent) news on Google and optimizing their search engine for personalized searches.  I read this article from <a href="http://searchenginewatch.com/3627999">Herndon Hasty</a>, for Search Engine Watch.  I too have found that this recent change have not really changed the overall effect of the way people are being found.  Many of my clients have not seen much of a change if any at all.  I will be following this closely of course, but I thought I would share the article with you!</p>

<p>Well, it&#8217;s been about four months since the big announcement and the  world hasn&#8217;t fallen to pieces yet. <a href="http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/100406-131451">Tiger Woods</a>&#8216;  initial confessions aside, Google&#8217;s December kickoff of personalized  search results for all users based on past behavior, regardless of  whether they had ever opted in for such a feature, led to a whole new  slew of claims that <a href="http://searchenginewatch.com/define#seo">SEO</a> is dead&#8230;.</p>
