• Optimizing for Personalized Search

  I found a great article regarding the recent (well not so recent) news on Google and optimizing their search engine for personalized searches.  I read this article from Herndon Hasty, for Search Engine Watch.  I too have found that this recent change have not really changed the overall effect of the way people are being found.  Many of my clients have not seen much of a change if any at all.  I will be following this closely of course, but I thought I would share the article with you!

  Well, it’s been about four months since the big announcement and the world hasn’t fallen to pieces yet. Tiger Woods‘ initial confessions aside, Google’s December kickoff of personalized search results for all users based on past behavior, regardless of whether they had ever opted in for such a feature, led to a whole new slew of claims that SEO is dead….
